Midlife Grass - Austria
This band from Vienna play a wide variety of bluegrass music from the real traditional stuff and old-time and gospel music to the modern bluegrass styles. The group started out with the making of a CD " For Our Friends Only" as a Christmas present for friends in 1995. After this they stared performing live as a band and made another CD titled " Four Men On A Mountain".

Modrotisk - Czech Republic
The band exists since 1983 and plays mainly contemporary bluegrass, but also swing, gospel and Irish folksongs. They use the english language as well as there own Czech language and have recorded LP's and CD's in both languages. They have taken part in all the major Czech festivals and also have played in Germany, France and Switserland. 18 year old banjoplayer Ondra Ruml has performed on the EWOB before with the group Lojzici and can be heard singing lead on the 1999 EWOB CD. They write a lot of their own material.

Monogram - Czech Republic

This tasty young band - founded in 1992 - plays fresh and up to date bluegrass music. All bandmembers are accomplished master of their instruments and are very well respected in the Czech and international bluegrass scene. The Jahoda brothers have toured with Chris Jones, Rebel recording star from the USA  and also as a band played in England and The Netherlands and Denmark before. They won third price in the SPBGMA European Bluegrass Band Contest held in Vienna. Zdenek Jahoda was awarded first price for his mandolin playing!
