Jaap Pijpers and Henk van Klaveren formed the Traditional String Unit in 1991. They have a lot of variation in their repertoire, which ranges from tunes by the Nashville Bluegrass, to Marty Robbisn style country music and from Cajun to Jazz and from Folk to Gospel. Friday night pickin' on their porch in Hillegom is what they like best. This summer they are invited to play outside of Holland for the first time to the famous Country Palba festival in the Czech Republic!

Roberto della Vecchia - Italy

Roberto is a scholar of Beppe Gambetta and plays guitar in the styles of Doc Watson and Dan Crary and others, incorporating it all into his own recognisable style. He recorded his first solo CD in 1998, called Open Space.
